How do I schedule service?

Select your service at www.sparklegrillcleaning.com and schedule your appointment online. Unfortunately we cannot schedule service over the phone.

How do I get a quote?

You can get an instant quote for cleaning, repair or a new grill at www.sparklegrillcleaning.com. Your quote will be determined by your grill type and location. We cannot provide cleaning quotes over the phone.

How often should my grill be serviced?

Manufacturers recommend at least annual service. Most of our clients have us perform a cleaning every 6 months to ensure their grill is always looking and functioning perfectly.

How long does a typical cleaning take?

A typical cleaning can take two to four hours depending on the service type and how dirty your grill is and other factors like accessibility. The great news is, you don’t need to be there while we are performing the service.

Do I need to be home for a cleaning or repair appointment?

No, you do not need to be home for the cleaning. As long as we have direct access to the grill we can perform the work. We take before and after photos which are sent to you via email with your receipt after the service.

Do you clean and/or repair my grill onsite?

For your convenience, we perform all cleaning and repairs onsite at your home.

Are you an authorized service center?

Yes, we are an authorized service center with nearly every major grill manufacturer. In fact, many of the most popular manufacturers use us as their outsourced warranty technicians. We receive specialized training and resources from the companies we work with. We use OEM replacement parts and order directly from the manufacturer.

What is your cleaning process?

First we'll assess the grill including all systems and components. If anything needs to be fixed, repaired or replaced we'll take care of it. Next we'll remove all components and clean each individually and thoroughly. We'll sanitize the cooking surface removing all carbon, grease, food residue and cancer causing carcinogens. We use a high alkaline bio-degradable green cleaning solution and water. As a final step we'll buff the exterior using our commercial quality stainless steel polish, restoring your grill's original sparkle.

What's the difference between a Comprehensive cleaning and a Maintenance cleaning?

Our Comprehensive cleaning is our most popular service and is meant for high end stainless steel gas grills. The Comprehensive cleaning service will restore your grill to as close to "Like New" condition as possible, both in look and functionality. Most grill manufacturers recommend this service annually. Our customers are typically proud to stand next to their grill after a Comprehensive cleaning. You might find yourself wanting to host a party!

Our Maintenance cleaning is a lighter, more value oriented service. Specially tailored for recurring cleaning clients and more basic freestanding gas grills, the Maintenance cleaning is meant to maximize the value you receive while minimizing your cost. To keep the cleaning fee low, we prioritize the most important components like the cooking grates, heat shields, and burners while spending limited time on the fire box, cart, and exterior. Rest assured, your grill will be sanitized and clean! However, it won't have that "Like New" look the Comprehensive cleaning will provide.

What is an Assessment and why would I need one?

An Assessment is a full diagnosis of your grill so you know what needs to be fixed, repaired or replaced and allows us to provide a quote for the necessary repairs. The Technician will provide you recommended next steps along with a quote. We perform an Assessment free of charge with every cleaning so you always know the status of your grill.

What kind of cleaning solution do you use? Is it safe?

Your health is of the utmost importance to us. That’s why we’ll never use harsh or abrasive cleaners on your grill. We use a USDA accepted water based green, high alkaline biodegradable cleaning solution. We may need to tap into your hose bib in your backyard for a small amount of water during the cleaning.

Can I cook on my grill immediately after the cleaning?

Absolutely! Your grill is ready for use immediately after the cleaning unless otherwise noted by your Technician. We always recommend you heat the grill on high for 5 minutes before you cook anything.

Are repairs included in the cleaning quote?

Repairs and replacement parts are not included in your cleaning quote. Any recommended repairs are quoted separately once the Technician has had a chance to diagnose any issues.

Can you order parts before you service my grill?

We typically cannot order parts until the Technician is able to diagnose the problem(s) with the grill onsite. We always need the model and serial number to order parts. This usually requires the Technician to visit your home for an Assessment.

What new grill brands do you offer?

We sell only the highest quality grills on the market. Some of our most popular brands include Lynx, Alfresco, Summerset, Blaze, FireMagic and AOG. Inquire if there is a particular grill you have your eye on. We probably carry it.

Do you clean ovens, vent hoods or other items?

No. We are experts at cleaning and repairing high quality gas grills. Unfortunately we are not set up to service other equipment.

Can you help me process a warranty claim?

Yes! A cleaning is typically the first part of the process. Once we clean the grill and diagnose the problem we can help you process the warranty claim.
